Partnership for Public Service statement on the confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard as director of national intelligence
WASHINGTON – The nonpartisan, nonprofit Partnership for Public Service released the following statement from President and CEO Max Stier after Tulsi Gabbard was confirmed by the Senate to serve as the director of national intelligence:
“We congratulate Tulsi Gabbard on her confirmation as director of national intelligence. In her new role, the former congresswoman from Hawaii will serve as head of the U.S. intelligence community and serve as the principal advisor to the president. We are hopeful that Director Gabbard will work collaboratively with our nation’s intelligence agencies and rely on the expertise of the community’s career professionals to protect our national security.”
