And then there were five.
From a field of 23, the remaining presidential candidates now can be counted on one hand, but the outcome of this tumultuous primary election season still remains quite uncertain.
This obviously means that the two Democratic and three Republican candidates must devote their full attention and energy to campaigning. But there is another necessity that must not be overlooked. As they vigorously campaign, the candidates also have an obligation to begin preparing to govern.
